A user can perform the Amped Extender Setup either through the WPS connection method or through the Wi-Fi connection process. Most users use the WPS connection process as it is a convenient method to connect to the extender. The condition that applies while connecting the extender to a router with the WPS connection is that your router must have a WPS button on either the front panel or the back panel. While connecting to the Amped Range Extender wirelessly for the first time, a user has to type the default Network Name on the Wi-Fi list and enter the default Wi-Fi password on the Network Key field.
